FROM I-75, Exit 49

Go east on Highway 30 towards Downtown Athens & Tennessee Wesleyan College. After about 5-6 miles you will come to Jackson St. - Traffic Light #D-7. Turn right heading down the hill towards Downtown. The Arts Center is about a block and a half down the hill on the right - two doors below Dominos Pizza.

FROM I-75, Exit 52

Go east on Mt. Verd Road towards Athens. The first traffic light will be at the intersection with Hwy 11. Continue straight, heading towards Downtown Athens - about 5 miles. The next traffic light is at Hwy 30/Green Street. Continue straight (make no hard turns there). At the next traffic light, turn right on Jackson St. Continue straight through the next traffic light at College Street. The Arts Center is one block from there on your left, just beyond Knight Park.

DIRECTIONS FROM EXIT 52 (MT.VERD RD./ATHENS) ON I-75 TO THE ATHENS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

AFTER EXITING, HEAD TOWARDS ATHENS (Athens is on the opposite side of the interstate from the Ramada Inn). YOU WILL MAKE NO TURNS UNTIL YOU TURN LEFT ONTO KEITH LANE, WHICH IS THE ADDRESS OF THE ATHENS JR. HIGH SCHOOL.

About 2 miles after leaving the interstate, you will come to the first traffic light which is at the intersection of Hwy 11. Make no turns. Proceed forward about 3 miles to traffic light "I2" which is at the corner of Ingleside Ave. (the street you are on) and Green St. (Hwy 30). (Landmark: on your left is First Baptist Church). Make no 90 degree turns. Proceed crooked/straight (bends to the left then straight) to traffic light "E" which is one block ahead. (Now you're on Washington Ave.). Continue straight to traffic light "B" which is one block from "E" (Landmark: courthouse on your left). Proceed straight to traffic light "M1" which is about 3-4 blocks ahead (Landmark: Methodist church on your right - now this street is called Madison Ave. !). Proceed straight through that light and take your NEXT LEFT onto KEITH LANE. (If you pass the hospital on your right, you missed your turn). Athens Jr. High is one-half block down Keith Lane on your RIGHT just beyond Wellington Place.

FROM CHATTANOOGA

DIRECTIONS FROM EXIT 49 on I-75 to ATHENS JR. HIGH SCHOOL

You exit the Interstate onto Hwy 30. Go right towards Athens. At the third traffic light, turn right at the intersection with Hwy 11. Go to the third traffic light and turn left onto Dennis St. Go to the stop sign at Rocky Mount Rd. - go straight across it over the railroad tracks to the next stop sign and turn left onto Madison Ave. This road becomes 4 lane as you pass the hospital on your left. After the hospital, look for Madison Ave. Pharmacy on your right. Go one additional block and turn right unto Keith Lane. Athens Junior High School is one-half block down Keith Lane on the right, just past Wellington Place.
